You'll have the opportunity to choose your destination city, depending on where you live. The trip includes free international flights on United Airlines and can be used to fly anywhere in North America or Europe where United operates.

Why United Airlines?

United Airlines has long been a supporter of the LGBT community and for the fifth year in a row, they received a perfect 100 percent score on the Human Rights Campaign's annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and earned the label “Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.” United Airlines is a member of IGLTA and supports not only LGBT customers but also their LGBT employees providing fully inclusive equal employment, workplace benefits and non-discrimination policies. They currently operate an average of nearly 5,000 flights a day to 352 airports across six continents. Sorry Antarctica, you're out this time!

What is IGLTA?

As an LGBT traveler, you might not be aware of IGLTA because they tend to focus more on business-to-business relationships. But as consumers, we all benefit from the work they’ve done the past 30+ years. Today, airlines, hotels, destinations and travel companies from around the world join IGLTA to improve their products and services for the LGBT community. Among other things, they help to train non gay-owned companies to be sensitive to LGBT issues when it comes to travel and they also offer a great list of travel related member companies by country, which is particularly useful if you're traveling to a destination that might not be well known as a gay friendly place. You can check out their listing here – once on their site, just go to the menu and click “Plan You Trip.”

 Here's what included in the prize for one lucky winner:

Two round trip tickets on United Airlines valid for travel between Europe and the US, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean or Central America. Great news for both North Americans or Europeans because you can go either direction! Note that the tickets must be used by November 18th, 2016.
