A gay group tour is a great option for an amazing travel experience that’s already pre-planned and purchased as a package. It’s particularly useful if you’re too busy to plan your own trip or if you’re a gay solo traveler because you’ll quickly make new friends in your group as you travel together. Of course you can also travel with a friend, significant other or even a family member on one of these awesome adventures. We recommend a few different gay tour companies operators that do gay group trips and they all offer great itineraries and experiences that you’ll surely love and won’t forget.
Two Bad Tourists
Yep, that's us! Ever since 2018 we have been hosting our own gay sailing trip each summer. Our first hosted trip started in Croatia and then the following year we sailed the Greek Islands. Since we first started our own trips in 2018 we have hosted over 50 guests on some amazing summer adventures. We've enjoyed getting to know readers of our blog and our social media followers since we all share the same passion. We've had a blast on all these trips and gotten such great feedback from our guests that we've decided to expand our hosted trips in 2022. In fact, we recently sent out a survey to get feedback on where you'd like to travel with us. The data came back with overwhelming interest in 3 destinations—Spain, Greece and Croatia—and all our friends and followers are invited to join. Explore tours from Two Bad Tourists →
OUT Adventures has been a provider of exclusive cruises, gay tours and gay travel in general for nearly a decade. Whether you’re looking to tackle the climb of a lifetime or want to wallow in luxury aboard a private yacht, they offer plenty of packages that deliver great value and great times. If you’ve got something specific in mind they can even curate a custom itinerary just for you. We really like the products they offer and we’ve even been on a couple of tours with them in Iceland. The founders have done it all before: resorts, cruises, independent travel, gay vacations and plus traveled with straight tour groups. While traveling with a straight group may not always present an issue, they realized there was room for a better, more comfortable travel experience. They wanted a safe, non-judgmental holiday that would allow you to be yourself while exposing you to parts of the world that not everyone has seen. Explore tours from Out Adventures →

We had the opportunity to visit Israel in with OUTstanding Travel and we jumped at the chance to see this tiny country situated in the Middle East. As it turned out, it was one of the best trips and travel experiences we’ve ever had. Israel is such a small, yet diverse country with a complicated history that it provides a travel experience not found anywhere else in the world. They offer everything from short tours during gay pride to custom trips and tours in Israel and Jordan. During summer they offer gay bus trips every weekend to the Dead Sea, Jerusalem and several other destinations. They also offer customized travel services and packages if you’re looking for a full-service tour operator. During Tel Aviv pride, they run the bus tours on a daily basis. Oscar Wilde Tours
Oscar Wilde Tours is the world’s only gay history tour company and it was started by Professor Andrew Lear, who we met in May of 2015 in New York City. Professor Lear is easily the best tour guide you could have on gay history because he’s a leading scholar on sex in Ancient Greece and sexuality throughout the ages. He co-authored the publication called Images of Ancient Greek Pederasty: Boys Were Their Gods, which investigates the male on male love depicted on ancient Greek vase paintings. He’s even been a professor at several universities on the subject including New York University, Columbia and Pomona College.
Oscar Wilde Tours also recently won the silver Travvy award for the best LGBT tour operator in 2016 and they’ve expanded their operations in New York. They offer several walking tours in New York City where you can discover the gay history of the city. In addition, they also operate several different tours throughout the summer and fall in Europe including trips to Italy, Greece, Paris, Amsterdam and London. Explore tours from Oscar Wilde Tours →
We visited Iceland during the annual gay pride in August 2014 and were blown away. The country is tiny with around 300,000 residents but what’s amazing is that about one-third of the national population attends the pride parade. If you decide to visit during pride (or any time for that matter) a great way to take advantage of your time in Reykjavik is to hook yourself up with one of Pink Iceland’s tour packages. Pink Iceland, a tour company catering to the LGBTQ community, works well with all the pride festivities allowing you to get the most out of pride in the city center while also making time to visit must-see destinations outside the city like the Blue Lagoon or the Golden Circle. It’s a great way to add more gay and more Iceland to your gay Icelandic pride week!
But to be fair, Reykjavik gay pride is just one week out of the entire year and Iceland is a destination worth visiting year round. Yes, Iceland may be just 25km south of the Arctic Circle, but that’s the appeal! Visit during late fall or early spring and you can get a chance to see the Northern Lights. Or catch a flight in the dead of winter and attend the annual Rainbow Reykjavik event – a must-attend winter pride festival hosted by Pink Iceland. Either way, you’ll have the trip of a lifetime and there’s no better group of guides to show you around than our buddies at Pink Iceland. Explore tours from Pink Iceland →

Atlantis Cruises was founded in 1991 and is the most popular and well-known gay cruise company in the world. They offer large, full-ship gay cruises where all the guests onboard are LGBT and they charter top-of-the-line cruise ships from well-known companies like Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises or Norwegian Cruise Lines. Going on an Atlantis Cruise is one of the most enjoyable vacations you can take. The options are limitless ranging from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean or even the South Pacific.
We took an Atlantis gay cruise back in 2010 and had a great time. We’ve been on gay cruises from a few other major companies and Atlantis definitely offers the most diverse entertainment and they have great parties. If cruising is something you enjoy or think you might enjoy, then we’d definitely recommend you try an Atlantis gay cruise. It’s an unforgettable experience.
VACAYA is new to the market and it were founded in 2018. The company was formed by a small group of tourism and travel industry professionals with experience in entertainment and hospitality. The core team of VACAYA spent many years working at Atlantis and RSVP before deciding to start a new company with a different vision and offering.
Prior to VACAYA’s launch, Atlantis and RSVP were the only major players in the market of large, full-ship gay cruises. VACAYA saw this as an opportunity to innovate and create a more unique product designed around diversity for the entire LGBT+ community. VACAYA currently offers 4 to 5 trips per year including a large, full-ship gay cruise along with several smaller ship, river cruises and resort stays.

Social, sensual, clothing-optional sailing …Has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? Everything to Sea is a new sailing company offering relaxing trips across the Indonesian seas, visiting exotic islands while enjoying a care-free and naked experience… if you desire. That’s right, a clothing-optional cruise through uninhabited islands. One of the greatest things about going on a gay sailing trip is the liberty to let it all hang out- and you can interpret that any way you want.
Everything to Sea offers all-male clothing-optional sailing trips hosted on a large wooden sailing ship called a “Pinisi” boat, which fits up to 16 men including the crew. There are four air-conditioned cabins and you’ll be joined by the founders of Everything to Sea, Max and Dave, as well. We’ve known Alessio, the founder of Quiiky since 2015 when we met in Los Angeles. We really like the products they offer, and we’ve even been on their Untold History Tour of the Vatican in Rome. We were both surprised and entertained by everything gay we learned about the Vatican on the tour. Explore tours Quiiky →
Lisbon Beach offers tours to the gay beach 19 plus full-service city tours, day trips and nightlife tours. The tour guides are friendly and very knowledgeable about the city’s history, architecture and gay life. We toured around with an awesome guide who knew just about everything there is to know about the city. Tours are well priced and it’s easily the best option to visit the gay beach if you don’t have your own rental car. Tours start at just 29€ per person and can be booked online. At just a few years old, Lisbon Beach has grown rapidly and boasts 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor! Plus, we can personally vouch for them ourselves. Explore tours Lisbon Beach →
