In case you don't know us already, we're David and Auston, but you can call us Two Bad Tourists. We started this blog as a resource for LGBTQ+ travelers, featuring international gay-friendly destinations, festivals, and events. We aim to inspire LGBTQ+ people to explore the world wherever they might want to go, while offering travel tips and advice we've picked up after 13 years on the road. In addition to being professional bloggers for nearly a decade, we're also ASTA and IGLTA members, as well as an IATA-accredited agency.

Since 2018, we've hosted our own trips to Greece and Croatia, and we added Spain to the mix in 2022. Now we have group trips all over Europe and, in 2025, the Caribbean! What's more, within our hometown of Madrid, we run various tours—including a weeklong group trip in September, as well as an LGBTQ+ tapas tour and gay nightlife tour year-round.

And that's where you come in! By helping us promote and sell these trips to your clients, we'll pay you a 10% commission on bookings for client referrals.

Our first hosted trip was in Croatia, and the following year we sailed the Greek Islands. Since we started hosting our own trips in 2018, we have hosted over 200 guests on some amazing summer adventures. We've enjoyed getting to know readers of our blog and our social media followers, as we all share the same passion. We've had a blast on all these trips, and the great feedback from our guests has inspired us to expand our hosted trips in 2025.

While all our destinations are incredibly different, each country offers amazing travel opportunities. Greece and Italy are perfect for sailing, Spain is laid-back and gay-friendly, and France is world-renowned and classic. We personally host our group trips, and we also offer pre-tour add-ons to extend your clients' trips.

Gay Group Tour of Miami and the Caribbean on Virgin Voyages

The Caribbean is as close to paradise on Earth as it gets. Join us as we host a gay group trip embarking from Miami into tropical waters with Virgin Voyages from February 22 to March 2, 2025. This 8-night cruise is round-trip from Miami, porting at four Caribbean islands: the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, St. Croix, and Virgin Voyages' own Beach Club at Bimini. Virgin Voyages is a brand-new, adults-only cruise line that started sailing in 2021 and is one of the most LGBTQ+ friendly travel brands. Despite being new kids on the block, they’ve crafted cruising into a fine art. The ship is a floating adult playground, where there’s always something new to do… or eat… or drink! Expect international restaurants, drag queen bingo, eclectic performances, themed nighttime parties, and much more. Spain is an amazing destination, and it's one of the most progressive places in the world for the LGBTQ+ community. We've partnered with The Queer Travel, who helped assemble the itinerary for this gay Spain group tour and will manage the reservations as well as all the on-the-ground logistics. This will be an awesome gay group trip, so your clients can come with a friend, that special someone, or even come alone. In fact, many guests on our hosted trips are solo travelers, so they won't be alone, and they can make new friends while we explore together. Spain is famous around the world for its cultural traditions, great beaches, history, and welcoming atmosphere. As the third country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage back in 2005, it’s no surprise that Spain is so welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community. Madrid is perhaps not as well known as its Catalan sister in the northeast, Barcelona, as a gay destination. But the truth is that Madrid is a bigger city with more offerings from a nightlife perspective and many LGBTQ+ oriented events throughout the year. There are very few cities in the world that offer the same kind of welcome to LGBTQ+ residents and visitors. Madrid is a fantastic destination, especially if you enjoy local neighborhoods, art, the gay scene, nightlife, and beautiful weather. After exploring the capital city for several days, we'll head out on day trips to both Toledo and Segovia, each just an hour's drive from Madrid. Toledo is a medieval town that was once the capital of Spain before the royal family moved the capital to Madrid in the 1500s. Segovia is another famous town nearby, known for its Roman aqueduct as well as its fairytale-style castle. We'll spend our days exploring these medieval towns through their winding alleyways, cultural museums, and historic monuments. We'll be your hosts on this incredible trip to Madrid with day trips to Toledo and Segovia in September 2025.

The price is $120 USD (approx. €110) per person, with 8+ tapas and 5 drinks included. This tour is heavy on the food and drinks, with a splash of queer history.

Madrid Gay Nightlife Tour
