Are you a frequent traveler but don’t currently have a travel rewards credit card? Or maybe you already have one, but you’re looking for more lucrative travel benefits? If you’re a points and miles enthusiast, then you’re in luck—we have the perfect travel credit card to add to your wallet.
Most major banks and card companies, like Chase, Bank of America, and American Express, offer a variety of credit cards designed for frequent travelers. These offerings range from cards that earn points and miles on everyday purchases to those that provide elevated benefits like free airport lounge access or hundreds of dollars in travel credits and sign-up bonuses. Most travel cards allow you to redeem points and miles for travel-related expenses like flights, cruises, rental cars, or hotels. Some even offer cash back, gift cards, or redemptions from Amazon, Apple, and other online stores.
There is a huge variety of travel cards to choose from in the market. Some rewards cards are free but offer minimal travel benefits, while others charge an annual fee ranging from $100 to $700 per year. We personally have the Venture X card and have used it since it launched in 2021. We applied when it first came out, and by taking advantage of all the travel benefits, we covered the $395 annual fee five times over. With the travel credits, welcome bonus, and airport lounge access, the card has more than paid for itself. Additionally, this card does not charge foreign transaction fees, unlike many credit cards that typically charge around 3% of each purchase. That means you can use it for all your travel abroad without incurring hidden fees.
Card Details: Earn 75,000 bonus miles after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. Annual fee: $395. Click here for more details or to apply. Only valid for US residents.

Should You Apply for the Venture X Card?
As mentioned above, the Venture X is a premium rewards credit card designed for frequent travelers who want an elevated travel experience without paying a high annual fee. Comparable cards from Chase ($550) and American Express ($700) charge significantly more annually to maintain.
If you have good credit, travel often, and are savvy with points and miles, this is an excellent card for you. It offers great value by simply using a few of its most lucrative benefits. While some people might consider canceling the card after the first year once they receive the 75,000-mile bonus, it’s worth considering for the long term since the annual benefits easily outweigh the $395 annual fee.
We personally have the Venture X card and have been using it since 2021. We applied when it first launched and, by taking full advantage of its travel benefits, we easily covered the $395 annual fee. In fact, we've received around $2,000 in free travel in the first year alone—nearly 5 times the cost of the annual fee.
However, if you’re not a frequent traveler and don’t enjoy tracking points or booking trips with miles, this card may not be the best fit for you. Additionally, if you don't think you can meet the $4,000 spending requirement in the first three months, you won’t qualify for the 75,000-mile sign-up bonus, making it less worthwhile to apply.
