Europe – WE New Year’s Festival
This year, we’ll be attending the infamous New Years WE Party Festival – a series of 7 parties throughout the entire week. We’re not strangers to the WE Party – in fact, they host monthly parties in Madrid and they are some of the best and most popular. Without a doubt, our favorite party of the year is the WE Pool Party which takes place on Friday afternoon just before Madrid Gay Pride. If you’re planning on being in or visiting Madrid for new years, you just might want to check out one of these events.
Madrid is well known for its party scene year round. It has some of the best gay, straight, and mixed clubs of any metropolitan city. Clubs like Fabrik, Joy, Sala Cool, Sala Bash, Sala But and La Riviera have regular parties throughout the year so of course there are special parties during New Year’s.
The countdown has begun and there’s less than two weeks to the biggest, most surprising gay event of the winter in Madrid! Get ready to open the New Year with the hottest names in the gay scene.
Here’s the WE Festival New Year’s Schedule:
- Sunday, Dec 27th: Opening party by Matinee Pervert
- Monday, Dec 28th: The uncensored sins of college by XLsior
- Tuesday, Dec 29th: It’s winter in Madrid, but Forever Tel Aviv will make you SWEAT
- Wednesday, Dec 30th: Beyond will put you in prison
- Thursday, Dec 31st: The last night of 2015 will bring the most provocative party ever seen with the WE Party Show Boys
- Friday, Jan 1st: WE Super Size, a 10 hour non-stop party where WE Party Bang Bang presents a most surprising western love story
- Saturday, Jan 2nd: PAPA Party Heroes by Eliad Cohen

Asia – The White Party Bangkok
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
The world’s largest gay dance music festival launches in Asia this New Year’s with a 3-day event from December 31st, 2015 to January 2nd, 2016. The event will be held at the brand new concert hall, Muang Thai GMM Live House located in the heart of downtown Bangkok. The space will be transformed into a party paradise with a different theme at each event.
The White Party in Palm Springs originally started with only a few hundred people in the desert in 1989 and has evolved to become the world’s largest gay dance music festival. Superstar entertainment is the hallmark of the White Party and Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande have all made their mark.
They’ve also added a massive afternoon party, to complete the experience on New Year’s Day. This event will allow party goers to dance into the sunset as they overlook Bangkok from Cloud 47, the skybar atop the United Tower on the 47th floor.
This star lineup of DJ’s and entertainers will be delivered during the course of the four themed parties, which are:
- Thursday, Dec 31st: WP New Year’s Eve, wear: You decide
- Friday, Jan 1st (afternoon): WP Jock Ball, wear: Sportswear or sexy gym clothes
- Friday, Jan 1st (night): WP Military Ball, wear: Military inspired
- Saturday, Jan 2nd: White Party Main Event, wear: White
The White Party in Bangkok will be a New Year’s party experience unlike any ever before in Asia. Expect an eye-popping production headlined by world-renowned DJ’s and international performers pushing Asia’s entertainment boundaries.

North America – Evolve Vegas NYE
Location: Las Vegas, USA
The countdown to New Year’s Eve is on, and as 300,000 revelers close down Las Vegas Boulevard, the Strip’s only gay New Year’s party will be taking place at the new Tropicana Hotel in its stylish Havana Nightclub – including outdoor views of the midnight fireworks.
Ringing in 2016 at Evolve Vegas this year will be a gaggle of gay-friendly notables led by the evening’s hostess, Edie of Cirque Du Soleil’s Zumanity. Other entertainers planning to make the night extra special include headlining performer and Ru Paul’s Drag Race phenomenon Trixie Mattel, Bravo TV personality Scott Nevins, the multi-talented recording artist Z LaLa, sexy aerialist duo LV Sky Boys (oh so sexy!) and sounds by DJ Amphion.
Last year’s event hosted nearly 1,100 guests and was voted among the top 6 Gay New Year’s Eve blowouts. Attendees came from 6 continents, making this party one of the most diverse and sought after New Year’s Eve celebrations in Las Vegas.
