Preliminary Itinerary

Day 1: April 2, 2027

Rome

Your Italian adventure begins in the Eternal City. Guests arrive independently to Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and will have a private transfer to the hotel. Welcome and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to start exploring the city.

Optional Experience:
Villa Borghese & Galleria Borghese visit (€49) — a refined introduction to Rome’s artistic treasures.

7pm - Welcome drink of prosecco (included).

8pm – Dinner (optional). Join the group for a pre-arranged dinner reservation at a great restaurant in Rome. It’s the perfect opportunity to continue getting to know your fellow travelers after the welcome drink.

Day 2: April 3, 2027

Rome

10am - Private 3-hour walking tour through the heart of Rome.

Discover some of the city’s most iconic landmarks including Piazza Venezia and Il Vittoriano, the extraordinary Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the legendary Trevi Fountain.

Optional Upgrade:
An afternoon Colosseum experience (€88) to step inside one of the greatest monuments of the ancient world.

8pm – Dinner (optional). Join the group for a pre-arranged dinner reservation at a great restaurant in Rome.

Day 3: April 4, 2027

Rome

A morning to experience Rome however you wish — café culture, shopping, art, or simply soaking up the beauty of the Eternal City.

Optional Experience:
A guided visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel (€135), one of the most breathtaking artistic collections on Earth.

5pm – Trastevere Food Tour (included). Start the evening with sparkling wine, cheese, and cold cuts for aperitivo. Stop at a Trastevere institution for a spritz the way locals do. Sit down to enjoy two Roman pastas at one of Trastevere's most historic family-run restaurants. Finish with artisan gelato made on-site from fresh ingredients.

Day 4: April 5, 2027

Florence

After breakfast, travel north by high-speed train to Florence.

Once in Florence, a private transfer to the hotel.

After hotel check-in, enjoy free time to start exploring: savor a gelato, wander through charming piazzas, or enjoy a relaxed aperitivo in Piazzale Michelangelo.

Day 5: April 6, 2027

Florence

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Florence, where art and history meet around every corner.

Highlights include: Michelangelo’s David, the magnificent Duomo with Brunelleschi’s revolutionary dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, Ghiberti’s famous Gates of Paradise, Piazza della Signoria and the iconic Ponte Vecchio

The afternoon is free to enjoy Florence at your own pace — perhaps visiting the Uffizi Gallery, strolling through the romantic Boboli Gardens, or indulging in some elegant Italian shopping.

Day 6: April 7, 2027

Naples

After breakfast, continue south via high-speed train to Naples, the lively seaside city known for its rich culture, dramatic coastline, and — of course — the world capital of pizza.

Private transfer from the train station to the hotel.

After check-in, enjoy free time to relax or begin exploring this wonderfully vibrant city.

Optional Experience:
An afternoon visit to Pompeii (€75), the fascinating ancient Roman city preserved by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

Day 7: April 8, 2027

Naples

Enjoy a private guided tour of Naples (3 hours) exploring the city’s charismatic historic center.

Highlights include: Spaccanapoli, the Duomo of San Gennaro, and the UNESCO-listed historic center filled with palazzos, churches, and colorful street life.

Later, free time to discover the city's vibrant atmosphere at your own pace.

Day 8: April 9, 2027

Capri

After breakfast, take a hydrofoil to the glamorous island of Capri, celebrated since the early 20th century as one of Europe’s most iconic gay destinations.

A 2-hour boat tour around the island reveals Capri’s dramatic cliffs, turquoise waters, and hidden coves.

Later, enjoy free time to explore the island’s boutiques, cafés, and the stylish Piazzetta, the social heart of Capri.

Arrivederci Italia

This is the departure day after 9 awesome days together.

Check out of the hotel and if your travel plans allow, take the morning and afternoon to enjoy more of Naples on your own.

Transfers to the airport or train station from the hotel will take place depending on your departure time.

Standard Double-Occupancy Bookings

Payment Policy:

A 30% deposit of the total trip price is due at the time of booking confirmation. The remaining 70% balance is due 60 days before the trip start date.

Cancelation Policy:

More than 90 days before departure: Full refund; no cancellation fee applies.

90 to 61 days before departure: A 25% cancellation fee applies.

60 to 46 days before departure: A 50% cancellation fee applies.

45 to 31 days before departure: A 75% cancellation fee applies.

30 days or less before departure: 100% of the total trip price is non-refundable.

Solo Travelers Using the Roommate Matching Program

Payment Policy:

A 30% deposit of the total trip price plus a €100 matching fee is due at the time of booking confirmation. The remaining 70% balance is due 120 days before the trip start date. The matching fee becomes non-refundable once a roommate match is confirmed.

Cancelation Policy:

More than 120 days before departure: Full refund; no cancellation fee applies.

120 to 91 days before departure: A 25% cancellation fee applies.

90 to 61 days before departure: A 50% cancellation fee applies.

60 to 46 days before departure: A 75% cancellation fee applies.

45 days or less before departure: 100% of the total trip price is non-refundable.

Cancellation fees are calculated based on the total trip price, not simply the amount paid at the time of cancellation.

All prices are per person.

We don't like to place an age limit on the trip. But in saying that it's best suitable for ages 18+ and that guests are healthy and can get into the spirit of the trip. Our average age range is usually between mid-'30s and mid-'60s but we've also had younger and older on past trips. Our trips are also active and include many walking tours so it may not be suitable if you if you can't spend several hours on your feet, walking around the city and up and down hills.

Absolutely! Many guests on our trips are solo travelers so you won't be alone!
