Arrival to Barcelona El Prat Airport (BCN) and private transfer to the hotel. Someone will be waiting for you for the transfer. Welcome and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to start exploring the city.
7pm - Meet and greet with champagne welcome drink.
2pm – Sagrada Familia & Park Güell (3h). Visit the Sagrada Familia – arguably the most famous landmark of Barcelona. Designed meticulously by the great architect Antoni Gaudí, this work of art has taken over 100 years to build and contains the finest architecture in the city.
Then explore more magnificent work made by Antoni Gaudí: the beautiful Park Güell with stunning views of the city. During the tour you will talk about the city's gay history, lifestyle, and nightlife. Get all the information to fully enjoy one of the most gay-friendly cities in the world!
10am – Secrets of the Gothic Quarter Tour (3h). Barcelona is a city of culture with splendid architecture and historical buildings featuring the city’s Catalonian heritage. In this three-hour walking tour, you will explore the city center including the great Ciutadella Park, the Castle of the Three Dragons, the zoo, the Catalonian Parliament and the spectacular waterfall.
After that, you will go into the most ancient district of Barcelona, the Gothic Quarter. With some narrow streets, there are always plenty of nice surprises and hidden gems of the city waiting to be discovered. Highlights include the the Jewish Quarter, the majestic Cathedral, the Plaza del Rey, the Roman walls, and the Gothic church of Santa Maria del Mar.
12pm – Transfer to Virgin Voyages cruise terminal. After breakfast, pick up at the hotel in Barcelona for a private transfer to board the cruise ship, just 10-15 minutes away by car.
The price of the trip is $995 per person based on double occupancy in a 4-star hotel. Solo travelers can also get a private room in a 3-star hotel for the same price, with no single supplement.
Payment policy: ▪ 30% of the total trip price is due at the time of confirmation (deposit). ▪ The remaining 70% is due 60 days before the start date of the trip. Cancelation Policy: ▪ A 25% cancellation fee will apply if the cancellation occurs 90 days before departure. ▪ A 50% cancellation fees will apply if the cancellation occurs 60 days before departure. ▪ 100% of expenses will apply if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days after departure (e.g. non-refundable). All prices indicated are per person.

We don't like to place an age limit on the trip. But in saying that it's best suitable for ages 18+ and that guests are healthy and can get into the spirit of the trip. Our average age range is usually between mid-'30s and mid-'60s but we've also had younger and older on past trips. Our trips are also active and include many walking tours so it may not be suitable if you if you can't spend several hours on your feet, walking around the city and up and down hills.
Absolutely! If you are a solo traveler, we offer a private room in a 3-star hotel for the same price, with no single supplement. Many guests on our trips are solo travelers so you won't be alone!

The trip is open to any member or ally of the LGBT+ community. While the vast majority of our guests tend to be gay men, we're happy to welcome anyone who is friendly, welcoming and has an open mind.
This trip is open to all our guests who have booked the Virgin Voyages trip from June 22-29, 2025. We won't personally be able to join you for these 4 days in Barcelona but you'll be joined by a group of up to 20 gay guests from the Virgin Voyages cruise. You'll have an opportunity to meet your fellow cruise guests in Barcelona.
