There have been quite a few signs we've seen while traveling that left us wondering “What the hell does that mean?” So we've decided to write a post to help you guys out in case you ever run across these signs. Here goes…

From an overnight train to Munich

Left: How to open the window
Middle: No smoking
Right: Clearly a whistling cell phone, but I'm unsure if it's being encouraged or discouraged

From metro in Madrid

Top: Beware of large child hands
Bottom: No dancing

From hotel in Madrid

This states “Shsss” as opposed to “Shhhh”. There is a difference in pronunciation and meaning.

From train to Madrid

Meaning: Baby tickling station

Street sign in Berlin

Meaning: Children beware of man with paddle
