Overview

Join our private and exclusive LGBT+ shore excursion to Palazzo Moresco on October 9, 2024, a beautiful villa near Civitavecchia, in a nice resort called Santa Marinella, 10 minute drive from Civitavecchia Port.

Just in front of the sea, on one of the oldest Roman routes called ‘Via Aurelia’, Palazzo Moresco features a stunning terrace overlooking the sea and a green garden, where you can relax while drinking a good glass of wine or a cocktail. Palazzo Moresco also hosts five rooms and is located just 5 minutes walking from the beach.

The venue is run by a gay couple, Alessio and Andrea, owners of the tour operator Quiiky. They are proud of hosting the first location for civil unions (gay weddings) on the premises of Palazzo Moresco.

Note: Do not forget your swimming suit, towels, sun protection and a cap!

Italian Cooking Class & Villa Chill Out

9.00 AM - You will be picked up by your driver at Civitavecchia port. As soon as you arrive at Palazzo Moresco, a nice glass of chilled prosecco welcomes you.

10.00 AM - A boat tour along the coast, discovering the stunning villas of Santa Marinella – which has long been celebrated as a retreat for the Italian movie set – and the majestic Santa Severa Castle. Time for diving and for some snorkeling.

12.30 PM - Your cooking class starts: How to prepare a Carbonara (Roman past with eggs and bacon) and the ‘Pizza Romana’ (the Roman Pizza). You will meet your chef and get an introduction to the cooking class. You will prove yourself as an original Roman cook and taste the handmaking of your labor! You can get changed and take a shower in a shared ‘day-use’ room, so that you can get ready to go back to the port.

4.30 PM – transfer leaving for the Port Do not forget your swimming suit, towels, sun protection and a cap!

The price of the tour is $315 (approx. €290 USD) per person with a minimum of 8 people.

A 25% cancellation fee will apply if the cancellation occurs 90 days before departure. A 50% cancellation fees will apply if the cancellation occurs 60 days before departure. 100% of expenses will apply if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before departure (e.g. non-refundable).

As this is a shore excursion with Virgin Voyages, all guests must be 18+. The tour is also semi-active and includes some walking and optional swimming.

Absolutely! Many guests on our tours are solo travelers so you won't be alone! The tour requires a minimum of 8 participants to happen, so as long as that is reached it will run.
