Arrival to Barcelona El Prat Airport (BCN) and private transfer to the hotel. Someone will be waiting for you for the transfer. Welcome and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to start exploring the city. 7pm - Meet and greet with champagne welcome drink
2pm – City Center and Sagrada Familia Tour (3h). Barcelona is a city of culture with splendid architecture and historical buildings featuring the city’s Catalonian heritage. In this three-hour walking tour, we will explore the historic city center including Plaza Cataluña and La Rambla. The tour continues at the Sagrada Familia – arguably the most famous landmark of Barcelona. Designed meticulously by the great architect Antoni Gaudí, this work of art has taken over 100 years to build and contains the finest architecture in the city. During the tour we will talk about the city's gay history, lifestyle, and nightlife. We will make sure you have all the information to fully enjoy one of the most gay-friendly cities in the world!
10am – Modernism Gaudi Houses and Park Güell Tour (3h). We will visit the exterior of the modernist buildings of Puig i Cadafalch, Domenech i Montaner and Gaudí, some of the architects behind impressive buildings like Casa Amatller, Casa Lleó i Morera, La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. Then we will explore more magnificent work made by Antoni Gaudí: the beautiful Park Güell with stunning views of the city.
12pm – Transfer to Virgin Voyages cruise terminal. After breakfast, pick up at the hotel in Barcelona for a private transfer to board the cruise ship, just 10-15 minutes away by car.
The price of the trip is $795 per person based on double occupancy in the hotel.
Payment policy: ▪ 30% of the total trip price is due at the time of confirmation (deposit). ▪ The remaining 70% is due 60 days before the start date of the trip. Cancelation Policy: ▪ A 25% cancellation fee will apply if the cancellation occurs 90 days before departure. ▪ A 50% cancellation fees will apply if the cancellation occurs 60 days before departure. ▪ 100% of expenses will apply if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days after departure (e.g. non-refundable). All prices indicated are per person.

We don't like to place an age limit on the trip. But in saying that it's best suitable for ages 18+ and that guests are healthy and can get into the spirit of the trip. Our average age range is usually between mid-'30s and mid-'60s but we've also had younger and older on past trips. Our trips are also active and include many walking tours so it may not be suitable if you if you can't spend several hours on your feet, walking around the city and up and down hills.
Absolutely! If you are a solo traveler, we offer a private room for an extra supplement of $200. Many guests on our trips are solo travelers so you won't be alone!

The trip is open to any member or ally of the LGBT+ community. While the vast majority of our guests tend to be gay men, we're happy to welcome anyone who is friendly, welcoming and has an open mind.
This trip is open to all our guests who have booked the Virgin Voyages trip from October 6-13, 2024. We won't personally be able to join you for these 4 days in Barcelona but you'll be joined by a group of up to 20 gay guests from the Virgin Voyages cruise. You'll have an opportunity to meet your fellow cruise guests in Barcelona.
Take a boat tour along the coast to discover the stunning villas of Santa Marinella and the majestic Santa Severa Castle with time for snorkeling. Then learn to prepare a Carbonara and ‘Pizza Romana’ in an intro cooking class.
