Tour Itinerary

Day 1: July 15, 2023

Sicily/Malta

Your sailing boat will arrive in Sicily at Portorosa Marina the afternoon before. You’ll depart the boat very early in the morning and take a transfer to the nearby Port of Catania or Catania Airport, where you’ll catch a ferry or flight to Malta. Drop your bags at the hotel and enjoy a free afternoon and evening in Valletta, the capital of Malta. Dine on your own or join the others in the group for dinner.

8pm – Pub Crawl with two gay locals and the other guests from the trip.

Day 2: July 16, 2023

Malta

Breakfast on your own at the hotel.

Spend the morning in Valletta visiting the Carmelite Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and experience the Festa celebration which consists of processions, colorful decorations and various performances.

1pm – Transport to Cool Beach Club. Spend a relaxing afternoon in the sun at Cool Beach Club with loungers, an umbrella, and showers included. Transport back to the hotel around 8pm.

Day 3: July 17, 2023

Malta

Breakfast on your own at the hotel.

10am Valletta City Tour (4h). After breakfast, you’ll take a private tour of Valletta City with a gay guide which includes entrance to St John’s Cathedral. Then take a typical Maltese Gondola for a cruise around the Grand Harbour.

Enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening exploring the island at your leisure.

Day 4: July 18, 2023

Malta

Breakfast on your own at the hotel.

10am Mdina & Rabat Tour + Wine Tasting Experience (4h). Meet your guide in Valletta and then head off to the cities of Mdina and Rabat with a private professional guide. Mdina is a fortified city in the north region and used to be the capital until the medieval times, while Rabat is a small village right next door and is known for its catacombs and archaeological remains. The tour includes entrance to St. Paul’s Grotto and WWII bomb shelters.

End with a tour of a nearby winery and a tasting of 3 premium Maltese wines.

8:30pm Dinner & Drinks. Dine with two Malta locals, Cliff & Robb, at their chic Valletta Town House. Finish the day off with cocktails of course.

Day 5: July 19, 2023

Malta/Departure

Breakfast on your own at the hotel.

After breakfast, you can enjoy the final morning at your leisure taking in the beautiful sights of Valletta. Then it’s time for goodbyes and transfers to Malta International Airport according to your flight time.

The estimated price of the trip is around $1,200-$1,500. This depends on interest. We hope to have the final price ready ASAP.

Our cancellation policy is the following:
▪ Up to 29 days prior to arrival date: 15% from the total services
▪ 28 - 21 days before arrival date: 30% from the total services
▪ 20 - 14 days before arrival date: 50% from the total services
▪ 13 – 7 days before arrival date: 80% from total services
▪ Less than 7 days before arrival date: 100% from total services

We don't like to place an age limit on the trip. But in saying that it's best suitable for ages 18+ and that guests are healthy and can get into the spirit of the trip. Our average age range is usually between mid-'30s and mid-'60s but we've also had younger and older on past trips.

Absolutely! If you are a solo traveler, we can match you with a roommate and you can pay the same price if you're willing to share a room with another guest. Or if you prefer a private hotel room, you can pay the €240 single supplement. Many guests on our trips are solo travelers so you won't be alone!

We'll do our best to assign you a shared room with a roommate. Please note that hotel does offer rooms with 2x twin beds, however, we cannot guarantee they will be available at the time of booking. As these rooms are limited in quantity, only early bookings have the best chance of reserving this room configuration. If at the time of booking the twin room is not available, you can still choose to pay the extra single supplement of €240 and get your own private room.

We generally market these gay sailing trips for men since many of our guests prefer 'clothing optional’ days on the boat and don’t always feel comfortable about being naked in front of women. For this reason, we offer this as an 18+ gay male experience.

This trip is open to all our guests who have booked the gay sailing trip from July 8-15, 2023 so you'll be joined by a group of 4-12 guests from the sailing trip. You'll have an opportunity to meet your fellow sailing guests beforehand.
