The place is far than what it looks like in the pictures and it’s dirty

I like first floor the most. It really nice place where you can some of your stuff. Generally, I’ve received very good impression. Only one thing that made me worried was high temperature inside the room.

Hidden gem of SF! Clean, kitschy, friendly staff, decent amenities, wish I wasnt there only for a few hrs of sleep. Definitly coming back for a few days next time I come to SF.

Eclectic atmosphere and hospitality is exceptional.

Atmosphere and decor are lovely. The hosts are gracious and accommodations comforting.

Dirty shared room space in unsafe area. I paid as required with booking, but did not stay there. I slept in a couch in my office instead. Not going to ridk my life in this place just because s convention jn town booked all of the good hotels. This plsce iz disgusting.

Very well maintained compare to other hostels in the vicinity.

Room a little noisy, but overall experience fine. For a six bed room actually very peaceful

Friendly staff and good quality facilities! Location was decent and the free breakfasts were greatly appreciated.

For affordable stay near Union Square & access to public transport, this place is quite good. Only problem is the noise, security(for rooms on the lowest floor), and cleanliness(met a few mice during the night). House rules are quite strict for hungry night owls.

At night time ito not the nicest place to be but it's very close to union square

Location, location, location. Bang for your buck. At less than $40 per night two blocks from Union Square in Downtown SFO. Bring your own padlock - save another $6. Will stay at this place again if I'm in the area

It was not comfortable and photos are not reflecting the conditions of the room but I guess for this price thats what you get.

Thank you for your review. We did have an uncharacteristic hot spell recently, usually the city is cooler!
