On Saturday, we met a friend from class at a world festival (Feria de las Culturas Amigas 2012) that had tons of great food, entertainment and products from countries all of the world.

We enjoyed some pupusas de queso from El Salvador…

…viewed some political demonstrations for the upcoming presidential election in Mexico…

…and checked out a ton of booths with food to be enjoyed.

I'm also fairly certain that this may be the only place you will find Mexicans wearing kilts and playing bagpipes (this was near the United Kingdom booth obviously).

No, unfortunately we won’t. We’ll be moving on to Guatemala this Monday. But we’ve loved Mexico City! So great!

      1. Darn! Oh, well. Some other time. I was already planning to take you to La Casa Azul… in case you hadn’t gone.
